The Felins ARB (Automatic Rubber Bander) automatically applies a rubber band to any item or bundle of items. The ARB loads, stretches and applies each band from a continuous roll of hundreds of rubber bands. The rubber bands are made from recycled plastic and are available in various colors and sizes. The model EB-160 will band products up to 6.25" wide and 5.5" high while the model EB-400 will band products up to 15.5" wide and 13.5" high. Activation is by either optical sensor or foot trip. Cycle speed is 45 bands per minute. The Felins ARB can also be equipped with an automatic label unit which folds a label around each rubber band before the band is applied. Whereas the standard models are fed manually, the ARB can be integrated into an automated system. Custom engineering service is available to design a system that fits a specific application. |
